Buzzed Buds is committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information that Buzzed Buds collects from or about you, as well as how we use and to whom we disclose that information. Canada Privacy Policy

It is Buzzed Buds policy to comply with the privacy legislation within each jurisdiction in which we operate. Sometimes the privacy legislation and / or an individual’s right to privacy are different from one jurisdiction to another. This Privacy Policy covers only those activities that are subject to the provisions of Canada’s federal and provincial privacy laws, as applicable.

Personal Information we collect

When you visit Buzzedbuds.co, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use your personal information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

For example, we may share your personal information from time to time with our third-party information technology and data processing service providers so that we may operate our business. As a result, your personal information may potentially be collected, used, processed, stored or disclosed in the United States. Whenever possible, Buzzed Buds strives to keep all customer data within Canada with the objective of securing customer data. For Example, if you place a cannabis order on our website your data will be processed through a third party supplier called Courier Plus Inc. (“dutchie,”). Dutchie is a company based in the United States that provides its services of cannabis menu display to many Ontario cannabis retailers through their website www.dutchie.com (the “Site”) and through its mobile applications and related. In addition, personal information may be disclosed or transferred to another party during the course of, or completion of, a change in ownership of or the grant of a security interest in, all or a part of Buzzed Buds or its affiliates through, for example, an asset or share sale, or some other form of business combination, merger or joint venture, provided that such party is bound by appropriate agreements or obligations and required to use or disclose your personal information in a manner consistent with the use and disclosure provisions of this Privacy Policy, unless you consent otherwise.

Finally, your personal information may be disclosed:

  • as permitted or required by applicable law or regulatory requirements;
  • to comply with valid legal processes such as search warrants, subpoenas or court orders;
  • as part of Buzzed Buds’ regular reporting activities;
  • during emergency situations or where necessary to protect the safety of a person or group of persons; and with your consent.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Data retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. 

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of majority in the individuals province of residence.
