Gone are the days of having to wait for your friend to roll a joint. There are a number of different and new ways to consume marijuana that fit your lifestyle.
Dried cannabis flower is smokable, trichrome-covered part of a female cannabis plant. Flower is the most popular form of cannabis due to its versatility since it can be consumed in a variety of ways, including smoked in a pipe or joint, vaporized in a vaporizer, or incorporated into edibles.
A very convenient way to smoke flower is in the form of a pre-roll or blunt. It is a very convenient way to grab your favourite flower in the form of single and multi-packs. For more advanced smokers, pre-rolls are now available dipped in cannabis oil, rolled in kief, or all of the above.
Marijuana edibles can be many forms of food infused with cannabinoids. Edibles are most commonly in the form of gummies, brownies, cookies and can be infused in almost any meal. Any recipe that calls for butter or oil can be readily infused with cannabis.
Edibles are processed differently than inhaled cannabis. When weed is ingested, cannabinoids enter the bloodstream through the stomach and liver, which increases potency and delays the onset of effects. This method also strengthens the intoxicating effects, sometimes causing them to last longer than four hours.
A weed vape is a handheld device consisting of a battery attached to a cartridge filled with cannabis concentrate. Weed pens vaporize rather than burn cannabis, resulting in vapor instead of smoke. Many users find they are convenient and discreet and the options are endless.
A cannabis concentrate is a highly potent THC and/or CBD concentrated mass. They contain extraordinarily high THC levels that can range from 40% to over 90%, up to four times stronger than high grade or top shelf bud which normally peaks around 30%.
Concentrates come in the form of distillate, hash, hash oil, kief, live resin, live resin, rosin, shatter, terp sauce, and wax. They can be smoked with a dab rig with an e-nail or vape pen.
Topicals are cannabis-infused products you apply directly to your skin in an oil or lotion. It allows the cannabinoid to be absorbed in the bloodstream at a slower rate than smokable or edible cannabis, so the effects of topicals are typically felt only where they are applied.
They include lotions, oils, sprays, soaps, bath salts and more. Topicals can be CBD or THC dominant so be sure to check with a Budtender before using.

Cannabis comes in many varieties. It is important to note that each strain effects everyone differently, so it is encouraged to try different types in small doses to see what works best for your needs.
Sativa strains are typically more associated with higher energy experiences. Users tend to enjoy this strain before working out, boosting their creativity or looking to be the life of the party.
Hybrid strains offer a combination of sativa and indica effects. These strains are very popular with lots of strains to choose from. Users typically associate hybrid strains to a relaxing body sensation with an uplifting cerebral high.
Most user associate Indica strains with a quiet night on the couch curled up watching their favourite show or movie – and don’t forget the snacks! For most, indica strains have more sedative relaxing effects, pairing a euphoric sensation with a relaxing body high.
Known for its therapeutic applications, users tend to associate CBD with relaxing effects and relief without an intense or intoxicating high. For new users, it can be a good place to start your cannabis journey by starting lighter and easing into THC.
Terpenes are fragrant oils produced by plants and are believed to function as a way to attract pollinators and/or repel pests. Different strains of cannabis contain different levels of terpenes. You may notice that strains with similar terpene profiles (and cannabinoid levels) feel similarly, like Blue Dream and Strawberry Cough.
Terpenes are fragile, volatile compounds that can easily be lost in the creation of cannabis extracts. Although dried flower best preserves the authentic terpene profile of the raw plant it came from, many cannabis extractors have mastered the art of terpene preservation and offer cannabis oils rich in these fragrant, desirable compounds.
